3 more days...

until BREAKING DAWN!! Are you obsessed? I am. My SIL gave me the Twilight series to read a year ago and the fourth book come out this friday. I'm second in line to read it as Lynne gets it first--only far since she's buying it! hehe Any other Twilight fans out there???

So until we get our little hands on that jewel, I'll be making table runners and tissue paper pom poms for Logan's party. It's his birthday week and we've been trying to do something special for him everyday. Yesterday he got to pick out his favorite cereal at the store and choose his lunch--pepperoni pizza. Today I took him to the dairy in town for a little ice cream cone--he loved that! not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow....

Just a couple of things tonight. here's a christmas layout about our Gingerbread House tradition--makes me hungry just looking at it!

Here's a card I made for a graduate.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

some old stuff....

I haven't had much to post these last couple of days. Here's some layouts I did a while ago with Coredinations cardstock-YUMMY! They have the coolest papers. The core color is slightly lighter than the actual color so when you sand it down, you get a fun effect.

Cards and Sandcastles

Logan's birthday is coming up in two weeks and I've been getting his party ready. I just got the invitations done last night and I've got to go shopping for party favors and decorations today. We're doing a beach party and it should be a blast. Here's the cake I'm making--so fun!

Here's my take on Janelle's sketch for the week over at Sketch This! I found these tiger lillies at the Dollar store and I fell in love. Papers are new from Cosmo Cricket.
Here's a little prego card with some fun Kim Hughes stamps by CHF. Really had fun playing with these- you'll see more of them later :).
Just a fun one- I got to play with my flocking kit. Stamps by Hero Arts, flower by Prima, brad by Making Memories, papers by Coredinations and Making Memories.

Already miss them

Brandon's grandparents were up for the week from Venice, Utah. We love them so much and hardly ever get to see them. Needless to say I spent all my time with them, they had fun with Logan and Landen and I was so sad to see them head off this morning. Logan kept asking me if we could go visit them today and I had to explain to him that they were gone. He was so sad. Guess we'll have to make cookies today!! he he

Here's my card for the Sketch this blog. Really loved this one-so much layering!!

And this one is for CPS, we had Kitchen Sink stamps sponsor us this week and boy are thier stamps so fun! THey even have flower stamps that you layer for a look that is too real!

I got a nice little vacation this past weekend. We hopped in the car and headed down to Heber in Utah for a small family reunion. I even got a little shopping done in Layton--love that Hobby Lobby. we don't have one up here in Idaho. So now I have some fun new scrap supplies to play with and I'm feeling well rested. Always a plus. Logan did great in the car, but Landen did not like being in his carseat that long--what are we going to do when we head up to Washington next month?

Here's my card for the CPS blog- these are the new Hero Arts stamps, so fun. I loved everyone's cards this week-make sure to check them out!
And here's my card for the Sketch this! blog. Got me the new Amy Butler diecuts that I can't get enough of! Picked me up a pad of paper too, Micheals had a 40% off coupon- you know I gotta use that!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy 4th!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We had so much fun going to the parade and BBQ at Brandon's parents house. Logan loved watching the horses in the parade, although he was a little frightened of them. He did really good at the fireworks-plugged his ears a couple times for the loud ones. Can't say I blame him!

Here's my real card for the CPS sketch this week sponsored by Rubbernecker stamps. They are soooo fun to work with--look at that letters stamp! I keep thinking of new ways to use it!

A fun New Years card

Oh, and Jennifer has done an amazing job on the Hero Blog this week! All about interactive cards. I can't wait to try all her wonderful ideas!! You can see my card here.

Have a wonderful day!

New Hero

Hero Arts just came out with a new catalog this month. Boy do they have some YUMMY stamps. 6" x 12" clear stamps--perfect for layouts! I used some of the design blocks on this page. They even have some fun Asian stamps--with chinese lanterns and everything!
So I totally did the wrong CPS card this week, so here's my take on this weeks sketch for the first time!! I'll post the right one tomorrow. Aack-- I think I lost my brain when Landen was born!

Janelle has a fun sketch up on Sketch this! So much fun to see how the sketches can go from card to layout. Here's my take on the sketch:

"Logan is at your service!"

That's what he said to me randomly. I don't know what movie it was from or where he got it, but I wish it was true.... I've got some laundry and dishes that he could have at!! He just cracks me up everyday. Gotta love 2 year olds!

I know, I know, it's july and I'm posting christmas cards. Gotta do what the mags call for right? He he, I actually am LOVING doing some christmas projects right now. Makes me dream of cooler nights.
