2-4-6-8

Packing, cleaning, sorting, organizing--it's all being done in our house! Certainly Spring time-- and the cleaning has begun. It doesn't help that I'm freaking out about everything being perfect when we move into our new house. I want it all organized before we step foot in that door.

I've had so much fun with my Core'dinations paper this month. Finally got my projects for the month done and I really love the way they came out!

Here's my layout using the Core Essentials and my Cuttlebug. I really love how the embossing stands out when you stand that paper--way cool. Also finally got to use up the last of my Heidi Swapp chipboard letters--this is a great way to use up some numbers!

Having fun with my new Cricut cart again--planning on planting sunflowers in our garden this year! Used Chocolate Box and Core Essentials on this one.

Hearts, hearts and more hearts--I seem to be obsessed! Used the NEW Whitewash Collection and Core Essentials on this one as well.

Hope you had a fabulous monday!!

Strawberry Jammin'

Tomorrow I get to make a couple batches of Strawberry freezer jam--my favorite! Brandon was able to get them from a lady at work for $8/flat sent up from California. Mad we didn't get two or three of them! I'll be up to my elbows in the sweet stuff tomorrow! Reminds me of my Nanny who used to make us a batch every year.

Just finished sewing a pretty-pretty handbag for my SIL--now I want to keep it! haha, gonna have to make me one to match! ;) Now on to some scrappy stuff--the paper is just calling to me! Here's some fun cards I made this past week:

Enjoy your night and whip up a batch of Chocolate pudding--that's what I did! YUM!

Tootie Frootie kind of day!

haha, that title just cracks me up. We had a LARGE bag of Tootie Frooties (in case you don't know what that is--it's the cheapest kind of Fruit loops you can buy! :) and my boys have been eating them like crazy. Little Landen brings me his empty cup upside down and points to the kitchen-- I know exactly what he wants! Then Logan comes running in as well and asks for some. So yea, I vaccumed this morning and now I have crushed froot loops all over my floor. That's okay--it was fun watching them playing together and feeding each other!

Got some fun new scrapbooking papers for my birthday and I had to try some out! Here's a fun card for you. Hero Arts stamps (the dot background stamp is so COOL!), Fancy Pants felt flower, Martha Stewart ribbon, We R Memory Keepers patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Flowers--April Showers

Can't wait for my Spring flowers--I guess I have to put up with my April showers a little early around here. We've had a little sprinkling of rain the past couple days which wasn't too bad. Reminded me of home--I'm originally from Seattle. LOVE that rain. Went to Lowe's today and checked out the flower bulbs.

In honor of my (soon to be) flowerbeds I created this card. Got the Walk in My Garden Cartridge this past weekend and now I can't stop playing with it! Making Memories journaling tag, Core'dinations Cardstock, Hero Arts glitter, and Papertrey Ink stamps.

And here's another Easter card using my Papertrey Ink stamps-love that fluffy bunny! Selling both of these cards in my Etsy shop!

Hope you got a chance to create something special today!

Runnin' on empty...

That song just keeps running through my head as I've been trying to deal with life and getting no sleep at all. I can't sleep. Some nights my brain just won't shut off. Everything from laundry to scrapbooking ideas to new skirts I want to buy to how I'm going to decorate the house just keep flashing through my head. I didn't get to sleep until 1 am last night and the boys woke up at 6:30am. SOOoooo hard not to be grumpy-grumpersons--that's what we call the boys when their cranky! ;) Maybe I'll be able to shut off this brain of mine and get some shut-eye!

With all those fantastic ideas flashing through my head, I've got a couple things to share. Just a few cards that have suited my fancy the last couple days. I'm diggin' the summer cards--ready for the sun around here!!

I'm adding some fun spring and easter cards and projects to my Etsy store--go check them out!

Here's to a good night's sleep! :)

Yep. It's ours!

They accepted our offer and now we (almost) have a fabulous home! We hope to move in May 1st! The house is only 3 years old and we get to finish off the basement--which is perfect. We are looking forward to putting in closets and lighting where we want it. Logan LOVES the house. He calls it the "soft" house because it has really fluffy white carpet upstairs. I'm so excited!! Now I'm going through all my decorating magazines and obsessing over which paint to use and all that!

CPS was sponsored by Our Daily Bread this week. I got the chance to use their heartwarming sentiments. I love them! Here's my take on the sketch for this week:

And here's just some fun ones:
Had some fun with my Making Memories Stickers and glitter!

A giant butterfly--LOVE it!
A sweet card--reminds me of a vintage quilt. Hero Arts heart stamps.

I just got to do a little online shopping with my birthday money!! Yay!! I love mail!

St. Patty's!

We had a wonderful day! Gold coins all over our house--lucky Logan! We spent lunch with one of his good friends across the street. Arctic Circle is their favorite and they love playing on the big toy! Can't beat free entertainment!

On top of all the fun St. Patty's day stuff, we got approved for our first home loan. Saturday we looked at quite a few houses and then last night we found a house on the internet and I went to look at it today. And... I ... fell...in...love. I want it so bad. Brandon is going to look at it tomorrow and with any luck, we'll be putting in an offer. Fingers crossed! Doesn't seem like it should be that easy! haha

I've had so much fun with my new Whitewash Collection from Core'dinations. Super yummy. My favorite so far. Look at how cool:
Hopefully I'll be able to get to sleep--I'll be dreaming about that house.

I'm old!

SO old! haha. My birthday was yesterday and I turned 26! okay, okay, I know I'm way young, but I have two kids. Sometimes I feel a lot older! I got totally spoiled for my birthday. Brandon took me out to Garcia's (our favorite mexican restaurant) on Saturday to celebrate and my Mother In Law cooked me a fabulous birthday meal last night. It was so nice just to spend some time with the people I love and count my many blessings that I have recieved thus far in my life.

Addicted Scrappers has a great boy card/layout kit this month--look at those yummy Prima papers!! So cool. I just fell in love with those skateboards! Here's my projects using the kit:

here's one of my favorite presents I got--trash ties, they are for your hair. Now if I can figure out how to use them!!

have a great day!

little leprechauns

Logan is getting so much older and now the holidays are really fun! I have got to go purchase some St. Patrick's day decorations and fun chocolate gold coins to hide around the house. He's really excited. I'm making green shamrock pancakes, reading St. Patrick's books to him, and turning his milk green with food coloring on the 17th. My mom used to paint a little shamrock on our face before school when we were really little--maybe I'll do it for Logan and for myself this year!!

Here's a couple more fun projects. Forgot about these pictures of Landen's first bath. Had to do soft and sweet for this layout. Melissa Frances papers and stickers, Hero Arts stamps, Ranger ink, Hero Arts pearls, Core'dinations Cardstock.

I'm not a teen, I don't have a teen, but I love this new line from American Crafts. So funky and bright. Isn't that glitter chipboard sticker just the coolest??

And another fun stamped card--can't stop with the hearts. Love that dot one! Stamps by Hero Arts, Paper by Pebbles. Inc and My Mind's Eye, cardstock by Core'dinations, ribbon by Making Memories.

Tomorrow I have a fun new Addicted Scrappers kit to show you--for you that have boys, you'll LOVE this one!

Now, off to make my grocery list!

With the power of Preschool!!

Ever watch He-Man?? Logan has been really into watching Brandon's "gag" gift DVD. He's totally into swords right now and he loves it when He-man thrusts his sword in the air and says, "With the power of Greyskull" He thinks they say preschool--so cute. I just can't correct him! :)

Here's a couple more layouts for you tonight--I should be off to bed soon.

I love this new SEI paper--that orange totally sets off Landen's hair! Stamps by Hero Arts, cardstock by Coredinations, stickers, paper by SEI, letters by American Crafts--can't get enough of those vinyl thickers. So slim and cute!

I got this fabulous canvas paper from the store( I talked about it earlier) and I painted it, cut it out and layered the circles to make some yummy look-alike Prima flowers. Stamps by Hero Arts, paper by Basic Grey, buttons by Dress it up, stickers by American Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by! I really love reading all your sweet comments--they mean so much!

Scrappy fever!

Besides the fact that my son has a real 103 fever from his 1 year shots, I have had an onset of scrappy fever. I was able to complete 6 layouts in two days. That's crazy for me. Layouts take me sooooo long to do. I was happy. Here's two that I created:

Poor Landen also has a sinus infection and now a horrid cough. Poor guy. All he wants to do is snuggle--totally fine with me. I'll take advantage of it while I can! :)

Blood, sweat, and tears

Three words. We've started P90X again. We want to get in really good shape before summertime--not that we're near any beaches or plan to go to any. But it's always nice to be fit before the warm weather comes. Luckily, I have a hubby who does it with me. A built-in support system. 11 more weeks to go! Hopefully I'll be thin and trim by then! ;)

Just got a package of Coredinations NEW White Wash Collection--yumm-O! Can't wait to play with it. It's just sitting here on my desk staring at me. Here are a couple of my March DT projects. I have one other layout that I'll post tomorrow.

And my take on CPS 105. We were sponsored by the amazing Kelly at Keep In Touch Card Shop.
She hand picked each of our kits to our styles. She had me down-- LOVED my whole kit!

Have a wonderful night!
