ROCK ON BABY!

Okay isn't this totally the cutest? Brandon's Grandma gave Logan a dollar the other day and we took him to the dollar store to pick out a toy. He chose this little guitar and he's been obsessed with it ever since. He would turn on the radio and lip sync along while strumming the guitar. My little rock star!!

Paper loop christmas tree

Okay so here's my fun new christmas craft. I've been seeing everyone make them! SOOO easy and fun to make, although me and the hot glue gun don't get along very well. I think I burnt all of my fingers! Totally worth it though. Found this great rusted snowflakes at the local craft store and they went perfectly on top! I have no idea how I"m going to store them though! I posted instructions over at Serendipity Scrapbooks http://www.serendipityscrapbooks.com/. Go make one of your own!!

How many days left?

How many days left until Christmas? I've got to get shopping! SO much to do in so little time. I know you all feel the same way. We had a great Thanksgiving filled with lots of good food and relaxation! It's nice to not worry about anything, but playing games with your family and putting up the christmas decorations. I even braved the stores the day after Thanksgiving and got some major deals! It was sooooo cold though!

I'm trying to get ready for a craft fair in a couple weeks but it seems like when I ever have a deadline my creativity goes sooooo slow! I'm hoping to have something to sell by then at least! Everyone is loving my paper christmas tree and wants me to sell them, but they are SOOO much work. We'll see if I have time.

Going birthday shopping for Brandon today. Luckily he made me a list of things he wants. Every year I try to be creative and get him something he doesn't expect, but he ends up not using them. So this year, I'll stick to the list!!

Busy week

This week is going to be crazy for me! Brandon's birthday is on Thanksgiving this year! WOW! Lot's to do! I need to go shopping for him so bad. At least I'm not in charge of the feast! I'm just making the side dishes, and of course pies. I can't wait for my turkey. It seems like this is the only time of year we have it. I definetly need to make it again this year. You just can't beat turkey sandwiches!

Cupcakes!

Here's some fun cupcakes I made the other day with my friend Patty. She's just starting her cake decorating class and asked me to come give her a couple pointers. ALthough this is the first time I've made frosting in Idaho and I couldn't get the consistency right. Guess I'll have to practice.

HEre's a couple more cards I made for a few mag calls. With any luck they'll get accepted! Now that I"ve gotten most of my deadlines out of the way, I get to enjoy my friday! Relaxing and doing some major scrappin!!

Finally.... Sun!!!

We finally got some sunshine today so I was able to take some pics of my cards I've been working on. Here's a couple and I'll post more each day!! That's the only bad thing about the clouds, no sun in the house. I did just order my new flash and a Lightsphere so that should help. I can't wait to get it, I'll be stalking the mailman until then!

Lot's of deadlines today, my poor Logan will have to entertain himself for now. I think he just built himself a fort down the hall! sooo cute! I just love it when he acts like a boy!

Sunday Sunday

Unfortunetly I had to start off the day with an allergy attack. Yuck. SO I had to take allergy meds and that made me sooooo sleepy. THen Logan had to throw a royal fit before church. He absolutely refused to get dressed or even let us change his diaper. Just lovin' the terrible twos!

Crafty Crafty

I'm feeling very crafty today. I've been having christmas decorations run through my head all night! I think I'll be heading to the craft store!! Do you have any fun crafts your working on? I need to figure out what we are going to do for our christmas pic this year. I'll post them when I decide. I think I want to wait for snow though. Much more seasonal.

Lazy day

We're having such a lazy day this morning. Got to enjoy a bowl full of delicious Cocoa Pebbles with my little boy. He just loves special treats. I think we'll even get out of the house today and do some shopping! I need a new 8.5" x 11" album. Need to go search the nearest LSS. Thank goodness for Roberts, 40% off an item each day. Man that saves me so much money!

CPS

Here's my take on the CPS for last week. I've been really sick for the past 4 weeks so I'm a little behind! Luckily they figured out what's wrong with me. Unfortunetly it's Giardia, but at least they were able to find it and treat me fast. I'm feeling 95% better! only 4 more days of Meds and i'll be as good as new!

I hope you are all enjoying your lazy sunday afternoon. We're going to a friends house for dinner and games, then after Logan goes down for bed, I'm scrapping! It's been a while since I've had the energy and I've got a couple new goodies to play with!

We had so much fun Trick or Treating last night with Logan although we didn't get to go for long because it was freezing and he kept coughing. When we got home he wanted to open all his candy and take a bit of everything. Such a two year old! I just loved to watch him walk up to the door with his daddy and say Trick or treat! Sooooo fun!
