Berry Sweet

Nothin' to do today!! Just hangin' around the house, maybe it will get nice enough to take a walk!! I could only wish! I've been having so much fun listening to Logan talk. He says the funniest things at this age. On Saturday we went to see Prince Caspian-wonderful movie!! and I saw a poster for Ice Age 3, which is his favorite movie. I told him it was coming out and he wanted to go right then. When I told him it wasn't coming out till this summer, he looked me dead in the eye and said, "You take me to the future mommy??" I just laughed and said, "Sorry honey, I don' t have my time machine with me right now!" Gotta love that!!

Here's a fun card I made with a charm i've had FOREVER!! literally like 6 years! Ha ha! FInally used it! Cardstock is by Coredinations-such yummy stuff! Stamps by Hero Arts.

So Grateful

I've just been pondering the many things that I'm so very grateful in my life. For a husband who loves me and respects me, my two beautiful boys who are healthy, for a supportive family, and for my Faith in Jesus Christ. I hope you all had a wonderul Memorial day. It was raining really hard here, so we ended up at Leo's Place for Burgers, Pizza, and Arcade games. Logan always has so much fun there that he doesn't even eat his food!! It was really great to spend time with Brandon's family and enjoy our holiday!

Piggyback Rides and Slippery Slides...

I'm reading a new book called Piggyback Rides and Slippery Slides that has totally inspired me. Really made me think about how kids are drilled in this society and aren't given the chance to truly play and explore this world. No more drilling Logan with the ABC's!!

Totally Amplified!

I LOVED this kit from Addicted Scrappers this month! The colors are so bright and cheerful, the name is totally fitting! Here are a couple of examples that I made with the kit. I created 8 different cards and I have enough supplies to make many more!

Twice in the past two days i've had HUGE honey bee's fly into my scrap room. I don't know where they are coming from, but they must be after my supplies! :) I didn't even have the window open. I freaked out and grabbed Brandon's shoe to smash it, I get so worried that it would sting one of the boys. Brandon later questioned me why his shoe was now sitting in the window sill, I just said that I had to protect my family. he he, not mentioning that I had the chance to get my own shoe to do it.

Wow am I sore!

Brandon and I started P90X two weeks ago and it really is kicking my butt! I'm still trying to get back in shape from having Landen. We decided to invest in the system and we LOVE it! I've already lost 5 pounds and my clothes are getting baggy. Gotta love that! It's the only thing keeping me going, especially since I'm laying off the chocolate! 10 more weeks baby!!

My boys are driving me crazy today. Yesterday was so nice, we played games, potty training went really well, Landen was smiling all over. Today is the complete opposite. I guess you have to have days like today to really appreciate the good ones. Hopefully after nap time, we'll go back to having some fun!

I was so excited to get an email from Mindy last friday announcing that I had been chosen for the Core’dinations first ever Design Team! I'm so excited to work with such wonderful girls and product! Busy, Busy, Bee

Wow, I can't believe it's been a week since my last post. I'm such a blog slacker! We've been having so much fun around the house this week. Logan has proven to be a wonderful big brother this week. He brings Landen his binkie when he's crying, even though Logan just got off the binkie and was half temped to put it in his own mouth! He also saw that I was trying to get my make up done and the baby was fussing, so Logan started entertaining him by swinging toys in front of his face. I'm not sure if he was happy or just a little scared he might get hit, but it worked! I finished my makeup!
