Logan gave me the most amazing mother's day card--a picture of me made of construction paper and glue on the front and a little questionaire about me in the middle. Here it is--I love it.
And here's the questions he answered about me.
His teacher said he was just so funny when she asked him how old I was that she just had to write it down. hilarious. I love mother's day!! haha
All week this video has been on my mind. No one tells you when you become a mother you experience so much guilt over feeling not good enough as a mother. I struggle with it all the time. We had some amazing talks on mothers today at church and the words to this video went over and over though my head.
So for all the mothers out there-- enjoy this. It will make you feel a little better...
My favorite part is when she says, you are writing the only story of your life.
I'm so grateful to be a part of your lives Logan and Landen. I hope that I can love you enough to help you write it the way it should be written. :)
Us. on mother's day 2010.
happy mother's day to everyone!
I love you mom--you mean the world to me!! ((hugs)) and kisses!! :)

To Kandis...
remember...
1.You are NOT perfect. Stop trying to be. No one expects it of you.
2. Cuddle more.
3.Laugh. Not just a little chuckle here an there. Really laugh.
4. Be inspired by others--not jealous.
5. Worrying does no good. Life will happen whether you worry or not.
6. Your husband LOVES you. Unconditionally. Know that you're amazingly lucky to have him.
7. Read your scriptures. They will bring you peace and comfort.
8. Enjoy, cherish, and remember the small moments with your boys. They won't snuggle and want you to play with them for long.
9. Being a mother is a DIVINE calling. It's not easy, not even close. But there is nothing more worth feeling the love you have for your children. The same love God has for you.
10. Take pictures--remember.
11. Love your home. Make it a place that you love to be.
12. Teach your children.
13.Celebrate. everything.
14. Reflect on the blessings in your life that you see everyday.
15. ALWAYS remember that God and your family come first.
And you will always, always be happy. :)
hugs,
kandis

Did you see?
Did you see Biggest Loser tonight? Craziness! I loved Sam--really inspiring, although he did get a bit cocky at times, but I NEVER expected to see him end up with Stephanie. She wasn't my favorite person on the show--but you just never know who will end up with who right? haha I'm loving this season and I'll be so sad when it's over!
So I'm right in the middle of fixing up my blog--sorry it's kind of a mess. I need to make a new header but I'm nervous. I want it to look great--I've got my work cut out for me! :)
I have a couple layouts to share tonight--I never posted my 2peas garden layouts. Here they are--
You HAVE to drop by the garden and see what everyone is creating--those girls inspire me everyday!
hugs,
Kandis

HAPPY NSD!
A little late--it's the end of the day, but at least i didn't miss it! ;)
Brandon had Hernia surgery on Wednesday and I've been playing single mom, nurse, wife, housekeeper, and taxi all week. So pardon the no posts! he's recovering nicely, it's just hard on him to be in bed for so long--makes him really grumpy! I'm happy to be spoiling him rotten though because in a few weeks I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out and I'm going to be in his position! And I like to get spoiled haha!!
Hero Arts posted some amazing layout inspiration on their blog--Robin Werlich, Sheri Reguly, Nichol Magouirk, Vicki Boutin, and me. I'm so inspired by all of their layouts--I can't wait to get a little free time around here to get a couple done!
Here's my layout-- you can find supplies and instructions here.
