St. Patty's!

We had a wonderful day! Gold coins all over our house--lucky Logan! We spent lunch with one of his good friends across the street. Arctic Circle is their favorite and they love playing on the big toy! Can't beat free entertainment!

On top of all the fun St. Patty's day stuff, we got approved for our first home loan. Saturday we looked at quite a few houses and then last night we found a house on the internet and I went to look at it today. And... I ... fell...in...love. I want it so bad. Brandon is going to look at it tomorrow and with any luck, we'll be putting in an offer. Fingers crossed! Doesn't seem like it should be that easy! haha

I've had so much fun with my new Whitewash Collection from Core'dinations. Super yummy. My favorite so far. Look at how cool:
Hopefully I'll be able to get to sleep--I'll be dreaming about that house.

I'm old!

SO old! haha. My birthday was yesterday and I turned 26! okay, okay, I know I'm way young, but I have two kids. Sometimes I feel a lot older! I got totally spoiled for my birthday. Brandon took me out to Garcia's (our favorite mexican restaurant) on Saturday to celebrate and my Mother In Law cooked me a fabulous birthday meal last night. It was so nice just to spend some time with the people I love and count my many blessings that I have recieved thus far in my life.

Addicted Scrappers has a great boy card/layout kit this month--look at those yummy Prima papers!! So cool. I just fell in love with those skateboards! Here's my projects using the kit:

here's one of my favorite presents I got--trash ties, they are for your hair. Now if I can figure out how to use them!!

have a great day!

little leprechauns

Logan is getting so much older and now the holidays are really fun! I have got to go purchase some St. Patrick's day decorations and fun chocolate gold coins to hide around the house. He's really excited. I'm making green shamrock pancakes, reading St. Patrick's books to him, and turning his milk green with food coloring on the 17th. My mom used to paint a little shamrock on our face before school when we were really little--maybe I'll do it for Logan and for myself this year!!

Here's a couple more fun projects. Forgot about these pictures of Landen's first bath. Had to do soft and sweet for this layout. Melissa Frances papers and stickers, Hero Arts stamps, Ranger ink, Hero Arts pearls, Core'dinations Cardstock.

I'm not a teen, I don't have a teen, but I love this new line from American Crafts. So funky and bright. Isn't that glitter chipboard sticker just the coolest??

And another fun stamped card--can't stop with the hearts. Love that dot one! Stamps by Hero Arts, Paper by Pebbles. Inc and My Mind's Eye, cardstock by Core'dinations, ribbon by Making Memories.

Tomorrow I have a fun new Addicted Scrappers kit to show you--for you that have boys, you'll LOVE this one!

Now, off to make my grocery list!

With the power of Preschool!!

Ever watch He-Man?? Logan has been really into watching Brandon's "gag" gift DVD. He's totally into swords right now and he loves it when He-man thrusts his sword in the air and says, "With the power of Greyskull" He thinks they say preschool--so cute. I just can't correct him! :)

Here's a couple more layouts for you tonight--I should be off to bed soon.

I love this new SEI paper--that orange totally sets off Landen's hair! Stamps by Hero Arts, cardstock by Coredinations, stickers, paper by SEI, letters by American Crafts--can't get enough of those vinyl thickers. So slim and cute!

I got this fabulous canvas paper from the store( I talked about it earlier) and I painted it, cut it out and layered the circles to make some yummy look-alike Prima flowers. Stamps by Hero Arts, paper by Basic Grey, buttons by Dress it up, stickers by American Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by! I really love reading all your sweet comments--they mean so much!

Scrappy fever!

Besides the fact that my son has a real 103 fever from his 1 year shots, I have had an onset of scrappy fever. I was able to complete 6 layouts in two days. That's crazy for me. Layouts take me sooooo long to do. I was happy. Here's two that I created:

Poor Landen also has a sinus infection and now a horrid cough. Poor guy. All he wants to do is snuggle--totally fine with me. I'll take advantage of it while I can! :)

Blood, sweat, and tears

Three words. We've started P90X again. We want to get in really good shape before summertime--not that we're near any beaches or plan to go to any. But it's always nice to be fit before the warm weather comes. Luckily, I have a hubby who does it with me. A built-in support system. 11 more weeks to go! Hopefully I'll be thin and trim by then! ;)

Just got a package of Coredinations NEW White Wash Collection--yumm-O! Can't wait to play with it. It's just sitting here on my desk staring at me. Here are a couple of my March DT projects. I have one other layout that I'll post tomorrow.

And my take on CPS 105. We were sponsored by the amazing Kelly at Keep In Touch Card Shop.
She hand picked each of our kits to our styles. She had me down-- LOVED my whole kit!

Have a wonderful night!

Simply Sweet

Life's little moments really pass by so fast. I truly enjoy when I step back and enjoy the moment. Landen figured out he can tickle Logan and make Logan run away laughing. It was such fun watching the little guy chase his big brother around the house laughing like crazy. Makes me glad to be a mom. :)

Okay so I found this amazing canvas paper is 12x12 sheets at a local paper warehouse (Artco)--the COOLEST stuff. you can paint it, distress it and everything else! They sell their paper $1/lb. and I still think I should have gotten like 6 or 7 more pounds. Maybe I'll run back--just what I need, more paper! haha

Here's a fun little number for you tonight. Using up some scraps and playing with my Cricut. I used that canvas paper as the background but you really can't see the fun texture on it in the picture. Gotta love that sentiment by Hero Arts--totally what I need to make some birthday cards. Actually I think I need an "I forgot your birthday... again... sorry." stamp. Any out there? I'm so bad at remembering!
Maybe I'm up for one more card before I hit the sack!

Papertrey Ink Goodness

Have you had a chance to check out the CPS blog this week? Papertrey Ink sponsored us and sent us the yummiest stamps and cardstock to play with. I had a blast making some cards up. I'm always drawn to the bright happy colors, so I made two with the funky pinks and oranges. But I went out of my comfort zone and make one in pale blue and green as well. Love the way this cardstock takes ink from the stamps--so perfect.

Here's the one I did for the Blog.

My soft blues.

A sweet baby bunny.

Have a wonderful night--off to watch a movie with my hubby while the kiddos are asleep!

Thank You Mellypea!!

Melanie (Mellypea) from 2peas asked my to participate in their Pea Profile program. I was so excited to get that email! They sent me a couple products to work with and asked me to make some projects. I got red Maya Mist, A year to Remember clear calendars, and Maya Road Damask chipboard. I had so much fun with them and got to use bright funky colors.

LOVE this Thank you card--isn't that paper so awesome!!? Used acrylic paints on the chipboard along with the Maya Mist. Before the paint dried I added glitter to them to give it a little sparkle!

100% girly girl--that's my little niece Kenzie. Took that picture a year ago. I loved that aqua jacket she was wearing in the picture so I tried to match it with some funky lime greens and fuschias. Loved how it turned out!

I'm going to make a ton of these birthday cards. Those clear calendars are really fun to work with and the tin comes with 12 styles. Also used the chipboard damask on here as well!
Thanks again 2peas!! This was so fun!!

Have a wonderful day--filled with paint and glitter! :)
