August Garden Girl Hop

The garden was FLOODED with fantastic Back to School projects yesterday--you have to check it out! Stunning work. I'm in LOVE with Lynn's layout--look at that guy!! I could take him home and add him to my collection! ;)

HOW old?

My little Logan is officially 7 today!! 7!! I can't believe it--time really does fly by. My mom always said that and I never really thought much of it until I had kids! So for my little guy today we are heading over to IHOP for some breakfast, going to see The Lorax at the movie theater, and ordering pizza for dinner! I'm hoping to take a million pictures... It seems like I just don't have enough of that kiddo.

favorite sport: baseball

favorite food: Pepperoni Pizza

favorite TV show: Phineas and Ferb

favorite Movie: Despicable Me

favorite candy: Juicy Drop Pop

favorite subject: reading...although he says recess most of the time!

other interesting facts about Logan: He can breakdance like a pro, he makes friends super fast, loves his brothers, has the cutest darn laugh ever, and an amazing athlete!

Whew--summer is flying by! I consider that good and bad. We've been having lots of fun around here at the zoo, playing in the mud, slip 'n' sliding, bike riding, and eating shaved ice! But---I'm sooo ready for school to start! Can I hear an "AMEN" from all the mothers out there? Man, I love my little guys but they are driving me up the wall! Luckily we've started some back to school shopping a little early to get them all excited for the first day... which is coming way soon!

I have a couple cards to share today--I've posted them over at twopeas this past month, but for some reason never really got around to posting them on my blog--oh, yea, that's because I'm super lazy! ;)

Now, off to bed! ;)

 Here's a cute little treasure box I made using a tutorial on the Scor Pal site. They have so many!! You will be amazed!

 I also made a little tri-fold card with a wrap around band to hold it together. Add in a little twine and some butterflies!

Finally Friday!!

I'm excited it's friday--I love the weekends. Even if we don't do anything, it's nice just to be together for a couple days without work and everything! And I have a fun little card for you today... I posted the Finally Friday card video over at 2peas today. Go check it out here.

Lime and Brown Doodlebug!

 

Kinda of a crazy color combo huh? But I thought it went perfect with my little guy's picture! Everything is Doodlebug on here--love that little Giraffe Doodle-pop! And I'm not sure if you can tell, but the background is sparkly--love it! The title is a rubon--it reminds me of my parents when I was growing up. They used to listen to the oldies station a lot. 

Go break out some Doodlebug paper and embellies and get to scrappin--you can seriously make the funnest color combos with their product!!

EP Blog Hop

Welcome to the Echo Park Paper Design Team Blog Hop! Today the Echo Park Paper Design Team is showcasing projects from our latest collections. Sweet Day has to be one of the prettiest collections Echo Park has ever come out with! It's so soft and sweet!

 Here's a couple projects I made with it:

Isn't that little hot air balloon soooo fun?? I added some little flower stickers and some pearls to the top. I don't think I'm going to give this one away--maybe it needs to be framed! ;)

This is a simple, but sweet layout of my little Cooper bear. I just used two main pieces of patterned paper and adhered them to some kraft paper, machine stitched the edges and added a little strip of the blue patterned paper with a V taken out of the end. Then I just added some small little pictures and placed some fun accent stickers and brads on the page. Super simple--but I just love it!

 

The fun letter stickers that come with this collection are super fun--scrolly and white. I used them to spell out 'hello' on this card and topped it with a fun flower cluster sticker.
