I'm just totally in love with This &That Christmas collection. Really just love it. It's the perfect colors! I made a couple cards with the fun elements that go along with the patterned paper--chipboard, brads, letter stickers, stickers, journaling spots and so much more!

This second card is my favorite--not sure why. Maybe its' the fun candy cane striped ribbon! I used the Stripes patterned paper (the b side) which has the newpaper look. I adhered a journaling spot on top of that to the right of the card, then I tied some yummy ribbon around it into bows and glued some fun buttons to each. The chipboard accents go along perfectly with the collection--I added in the pendant words and also the sticker Santa with some foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for coming by my blog! Remember to leave me a comment for a chance to win a fantastic collection pack from Echo Park Paper Co.!

Hexagons

I'm LOVING all the craze over hexagons lately! I found these darling elongated hexagons from Studio Calico. Birthday cards are something I'm always in need of and I thought these would be perfect for men or women. I paired them up with some Hero Arts stamps and some Papertrey Ink Cardstock. You can find more details here.

Have a great night!

Halloween pics and some winners...

I hope you all had an amazing Halloween! We did--I just loved it! I was telling my husband that I hope they  have as much fun as I did when I was a kid. I just remember it being so much fun!

Logan and Landen went as BYU football players and we dressed Cooper up as a football. He loves any type of ball! He keeps pointing to himself and saying, "Ball! mama, Ball!!"  hehe So cute.

'Tis the Season

I got the fantastic chance to create a Christmas card video for Hero Arts using their new Christmas wreath stamp and diecut. Go check it out here.

and here's my video:

For more info on supplies and instructions:  go  here.

And another thing... today is the International Day of the Girl!  Lovely Mz. Shimelle told me all about it and she is doing something great:

"Today I am hoping to help by donating class fees to The Girls' Fund, a charity I support year round.  On an ordinary day, £1 of every class purchase at shimelle.com goes to The Girls' Fund.  Today it's 100% of class purchases of almost every class (details in the link below) and there's also the option to 'pay what you want' for a video that is only available as part of International Day of the Girl.  Even if donating isn't an option, there is a petition to sign that makes every voice count and doesn't cost a penny."

All the details can be found here:

She is amazing--what a wonderful cause!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Fall projects

It's really starting to feel like fall around here--the temperature has dropped and there are GORGEOUS orange, yellow, and red leaves everywhere. Can't wait to do some leaf pile pictures with the boys!

We've been working on fall and Halloween projects over at Two Peas--you NEED to check out all the great stuff the girls posted in the designer gallery. Here's my fall layout--I used my pictures from last years trip to the pumpkin patch.

To see more information and the products that I used go here.  I used the Silhouette to create the pumpkins and the title--I really love the way Kraft paper looks when it's cut out in cursive. So cute! The zig zag is a stamp from Hero arts--check out the link to see more info!

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday for pictures this year and it was a disaster! Cooper refused to look at the camera and ended up falling in the dirt like 10 times, Landen stepped in Turkey poop and it got smeared all over his pants. Logan was the only one who was willing to get his picture taken! Cooper ended up with a bloody lip, two new bruises, and a large scrape from falling so many times. He never cried once though--he loved it!
