Lime and Brown Doodlebug!

Kinda of a crazy color combo huh? But I thought it went perfect with my little guy's picture! Everything is Doodlebug on here--love that little Giraffe Doodle-pop! And I'm not sure if you can tell, but the background is sparkly--love it! The title is a rubon--it reminds me of my parents when I was growing up. They used to listen to the oldies station a lot.

Go break out some Doodlebug paper and embellies and get to scrappin--you can seriously make the funnest color combos with their product!!

EP Blog Hop

Welcome to the Echo Park Paper Design Team Blog Hop! Today the Echo Park Paper Design Team is showcasing projects from our latest collections. Sweet Day has to be one of the prettiest collections Echo Park has ever come out with! It's so soft and sweet!

Here's a couple projects I made with it:

Isn't that little hot air balloon soooo fun?? I added some little flower stickers and some pearls to the top. I don't think I'm going to give this one away--maybe it needs to be framed! ;)

This is a simple, but sweet layout of my little Cooper bear. I just used two main pieces of patterned paper and adhered them to some kraft paper, machine stitched the edges and added a little strip of the blue patterned paper with a V taken out of the end. Then I just added some small little pictures and placed some fun accent stickers and brads on the page. Super simple--but I just love it!

The fun letter stickers that come with this collection are super fun--scrolly and white. I used them to spell out 'hello' on this card and topped it with a fun flower cluster sticker.

Be sure to follow the blog hop list below as you hop from one blog to the next. Return to the Echo Park Paper blog at any time for the next blogger on the list in case you get lost or confused! ONE winner will be selected from each blog to receive an Echo Park Paper collection kit of their choosing. To qualify for the kit, comments will be due by midnight EST, Sunday, June 25th to qualify for the drawing. The winner will be announced on each blog Monday, June 26th so be sure to check back to see if you've won.

Congrats Savanna! I've emailed you! :)

We went down to Venice, UT last week to visit with Brandon's Grandparents and on the way we stopped by Temple Square in Salt Lake City, UT. We had a lot of fun!

 logan

Logan being a goof--I love this picture though! :)

 isaiah
They have the coolest exhibits --perfect for children. Logan was listening about Isaiah.

 escalator

The best part of the trip?? The escalator. Although apparently I've never taken them on one before because they were both scared to death of it at first.

Then Logan got brave enough to go on it.

 escalator landen

And then when Landen saw that no one died after riding it, he decided to ride it by himself. Big Boy style.

Mr. Cooper checking things out.

 temple square 3

At the Children's Museum they have toy chickens that you can find eggs under. Landen loved looking under them and hearing them squawk!

 temple square 4

Landen making up some food. I think my dinner consisted of yogurt, two cobs of corn, and a taco. Not too bad! :)

 temple square 2

Cooper was just happy to be out of the stroller, so we spent a majority of our time at the museum chasing him around.

 splash

Then we had to stop by the new City Creek Mall--the boys had a blast in the splash park!
