Week in Review

Is it just our family--or have you been hit hard by a bunch of random cold bugs/flu bugs? My goodness! In two weeks we had two rounds of colds. Brandon is still getting over his! Here's my pictures from last week--I took a bunch! Oh, and my boys need haircuts... desperately... can you tell? haha

Week in pictures

Because I'm too lazy to post pictures everyday--I'm going to start posting pictures once a week with the pictures from the week before. NO JUDGING-- there are some pretty bad pictures of me that you will see!

So here's the pictures from last week--most of which are from my i-phone. Except the last two:

IMG_0607
We went to the library--ended up with 40 books. That's usually how it works with us. The max is 50 books allowed. We sometimes have to put books back! We are big readers! look at that bag bursting with books!!

 IMG_0600
We had a trip to the dentist last Thursday for both Landen and Logan. Both of them had NO cavities! That's a big deal for us! They have such bad teeth!

 IMG_0598
 Here's Logan with Dr. Mike.

 IMG_0594

Landen and Cooper got a hold of my phone and started taking pictures while laying in my bed!

 IMG_0592
Someone got into the bowl of flour I had on the counter to make bread. When I turned my back, a little munchkin thought it would be fun to shower in it!

 IMG_0587
The boys love Headbanz! Have you played it? Landen ends up telling everyone what they are after the first couple rounds!

 IMG_0582
Just wanted to snap a picture of Coop and me!

 IMG_0578
Landen and Cooper love to take baths together! They fight a lot and Landen teaches Cooper a lot of naughty stuff, but they laugh and laugh in there!

 IMG_0576
Can you believe that number? It was last monday--the kids had to stay home from school because it was supposed to get down to -13. I never saw it get that low, but it was COLD!

 IMG_2256EBW
Landen smacked  his head on the door frame Friday night--ended up with a giant goose egg on the back of his noggin. Daddy had to sit with him and ice his head!

 IMG_2211E

And this is my FAVORITE picture of the week! Look at those gorgeous boys! It makes my heart happy!

Have a great day and take some pictures!

ONE winner will be selected from each blog to receive an Echo Park Paper collection kit of their choosing. The winner will be announced on each blog Monday, January 28th  so be sure to check back to see if you've won.

Here's one of my projects that I created using the fabulous new Love Story line--I just adored all the fun patterns and stickers in this collection! There was even animal print black and white papers--sooo cool!

I used some of the beautiful floral paper, added in one of the kraft colored journaling spots (the white birds are printed on it) with some photo corners. The sentiment is a sticker and I layered a pink chipboard heart over top. Then I topped it off with some tea stained lace and some pearls.

Here's some close ups:

Remember to leave me a comment and I will pick a random winner for an Echo Park Collection of your choice!

Sick buggies

Seems like everyone I know is getting the flu or a nasty cold. My poor mom got the flu so bad. She's on the mend though. Unfortunately my boys all had a nasty cold last week--luckily it only lasted like two days. Cooper had it the worst--and because I can't help but snuggle my little baby bear when he is sick, I now have the stupid cold. I can't stop sneezing and I feel like I'm pretty much gonna die.

I thought I'd jump on here and post some of my favorite pictures from these past two weeks of the boys. So far I've gotten a picture everyday--I'm trying to do Project life--which helps me remember to take pictures of everything! Some of them aren't pretty but they are pictures of our life and that's all that matters!

IMG_2129E
Cooper loves to play with his new race track he got for Christmas!

Logan decided he needed a Robin mask so that they could play Batman and Robin. We made it a little big--but it works!

 IMG_2123E

Everyday, every hour, Landen is asking me "Mommy, wanna play a game?" I love it. I love playing games with him--sometimes I have to get other things done, but I love that he wants to spend time with me.

Gamer. This boy LOVES his Lego games.

 Time with Sadie.

 Sadie loves to lick Coop.

 Card night mess--we had fun!

And this one is my FAVORITE. The boys love to play football downstairs together. It doesn't even have to be a football--they were using a basketball here and chasing Cooper who was going to score a touchdown! I love that they let him get a touchdown every time! And look how excited Cooper is! LOVE.

Have a great day--take some pictures!

Paper Smooches!

Paper Smooches is showing off their CHA release during the entire month of January.  37 designers are participating along with the PS DT, so there will be a ton for projects to inspire you this month.  Paper Smooches is known for their fun and whimsical hand-drawn stamps.  They decided that it was time to broaden their product line to include DIES and wood mount stamps!

I have a project to share using NEW PS product that releases on February 1, 2013 at www.papersmoochesstamps.com along with many retail stores around the globe.

You will find a new blog link (or two) to follow every day in January at the PS Blog.

Paper Smooches is giving away $500. Worth of product!  Hidden on FIVE of the participating blogs is a prize package worth $100. each. The prize includes a variety of stamp sets, wood mounts and dies.  Comment on as many blogs as you can to increase your chances to be one of the five winners.

Deadline is January 30th – winners will be announced on the PS Blog on January 31st.

Here's my creation! I used Paper Smooches Duo Die 3 for the beautiful frame--LOVE it! I will be using it on EVERYTHING! And it cuts through the paper like butter with beautiful edges! For the stamps I used Paper Smooches Needle Little Love and Sentiment Sampler--which is my favorite! There are so many different sayings and sentiment on there--you can make any kind of card you want. I colored in my stitched heart stamps with some copic markers and I also punched half a hole on the side of my card so that I could tie twine around it and not have it slip down!

Thanks for stopping by!

A sad goodbye...

I'm so sad to be leaving the Two Peas team. It's hard to part with everyone--they are all so talented. It's been a really amazing experience to work with all of them. I can't believe how long it has been since I started--about 4 years.

Here's the last project I did for the garden:

I used some beautiful BasicGrey papers, Studio Calico veneer and chipboard letters, Hero Arts stamps, some washi tape, twine, and Prima lace. I LOVE the way they turned out!

Have a great night!
