Mr. Distructo

That's what my 3yr old's nickname is---seems like he does nothing but destroy the house. I watched my nephew while my SIL went to the hospital to feed her new babies, and Parker and Logan completely turned his room upside down. Good thing it was just his room. Literally the mattress was on the floor, his play kitchen was knocked over, all the toys were thrown out of the toybox, and there were clothes and blankets everywhere. You'd think it took them hours to make that mess--oh, no. Not when two three year olds put their mind to it--I think it maybe took 5 minutes. I'm surprised the baby didn't get smooshed somehow in all their playing!

I have a couple fun things for tonight--got a page done. I don't know why they are more challenging than cards for me. Probably because it has my precious pictures on it and I know I'm going to be looking at it for a LONG time. This page turned out really cute--just because the little guy is so cute!! hehe

And a couple cards:

Gotta run and get a little more work done before I jump in bed! HUGS!!

Whack and unwrap

Don't you just love those chocolate oranges Santa brings you every year? I always love slamming it against the counter---just so fun. So when I found these Valentines at the dollar store that said, "Smack the Pack" I just had to get them. They are TOO COOL. It's a little packet that you pound with your fist and it starts to inflate--after a minute or two a mini valentine's balloon pops out! How fun is that??? Logan and I have been playing with them for the last two days.

I have a couple new things for you tonight--this is a layout I did with my Coredinations cardstock and some Clearscraps. Isn't that bird just so fun?? Making MEmories ribbon, Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder, Fiskars border punch, Making Memories patterned paper.

And here's a fun card using my Coredinations cardstock and my Cuttlebug. Patterned paper by Scenic Route, felt by FancyPants Designs, stamp by Hero Arts, ribbon by Maya Road, and that fun button--plastic. Cool huh? Found a HUGE bag of them at my LSS for $2, can't beat that!

Stayin' up late to clean my scrappy room--soooo needs a once over, or maybe a thrice over!!

Little moments

I just love my Saturday mornings--we wake up late, eat breakfast together, get ready, do a little shopping--not anything really special, just that we're doing it as a family. My Little Landen is getting so big--took 8 steps today. He already knows how to bug his older brother too--walked in on him hitting Logan in the head repeatedly--then he laughed. ha! boys!!

Here's the layouts and cards that I promised! Again--isn't this kit just gorgeous?? I really fell in love with all the little morsels of goodness Susannah packed into this kit!

Thanks for peeking in--and for your sweet comments--they always make my day!

and my heart skips a beat...

isn't this kit GORGEOUS??? Maybe I'm just partial to Valentine cards--my favorite part of Elementary school. Oh, how I miss passing out our cards to all my classmates. Then I'd read in to all the messages that the boys sent me. "Oh, he wrote, 'Be Mine!' He soooo must like me." Aaaah ,I miss those days.

So here's the latest January Kit by Addicted Scrappers. Hurry up an grab you one--they only have a couple left! I couldn't stop creating--literally made cards until I had no more paper!! Tomorrow I'll be posting my layouts and more cards plus a bunch of mini cards that I created with my left overs! And aren't left overs always good?

Have a wonderful night!

Sunshine colors

Is it crazy that I'm ready for Spring? I always get this way after the holidays. The snow needs to leave. I'm done with it. Hehe

So it's no wonder that my scrappy projects have all the bright fun colors in them. Especially love this whale one--how cute is that paper? I feel like making a whole set of them!

I need some more sympathy cards-- and I found this quote in my stash. Thought it would make a great one. Are the colors not very "sensitive" for the subject? you know--to cheerful? Those swirls are the new Hero Arts Thank You Flourishes and those pearls are new too!

When I clean my scrap room--I always find the need to make a card or two. Uncovered these gorgeous BasicGrey papers and had to sit down. Plus I had the chipboard to go with!

Staying up a little late tonight to make more cards-- can't sleep with ideas floating in my head!

And then there were two.

Now my other one is sick as well-- I've been trying to ward off all the germies that are floating through the house, but how can you not snuggle a little sick guy?? I'll probably come down with it soon too! I'll be taking my vitamins until then!

Finally set up an Etsy store--I've been working on it for a while and just got up the nerve to finish it. You can find a lot of my cards from past CARDS issues in there. You can check it out on the left hand side of my blog.

Just a couple creations for you tonight, here's my CPS card for the week. We were sponsored by Sweet n' Sassy Stamps. That dino was too fun to play with, I just had to use up some scraps and make a mini card out of him too! Basic Grey papers, Scenic Route diecut, brads by Making Memories, cardstock by Coredinations.

Here's one for the CARDS Challenge. I found this Houndstooth Making Memories paper over at my LSS and grabbed it up fast. SO cute! I have a million ideas running through my head. Stamp by Hero Arts, stickers and paper by Making Memories, flowers by Prima, machine stitching, buttons.

Have a wonderful night--I'm off to watch Transporter 2 with my hubby!

Chicken Noodle soup and snuggles

It's one of those kind of days--My little guy is sick, sick, sick. He can't quit coughing. Doesn't help that they have NO medicine for kids this age--you'd think they'd come up with something to make your life easier! You know it's bad when all a 3 year old wants to do is lay on the couch. He's usually running around getting into everything. So I think I'll take a day to do some snuggling and cooking to make my little guy better!

It's no secret that I'm a girly girl at heart--and I LOVE getting to do a girl page. Finally printed out my SIL's bridal pictures and scrapped them. Prima flowers, Hero Arts swirl stamps, Darice black gems, Hero Arts pearls, Imaginesce brads, Crate Paper and Jenni Bowlin papers, machine stitching.

ANd just another little mini for you--those cupcakes look good enough to eat!! They're from the new So Sweet Clear Stamp set by Hero.

Off to warm up some soup and put on some Kung Fu Panda!!
Have a wonderful day!!

My hubby says, "you are what you eat!" hehe They came out with Chewy Nerds this year for Christmas and MAN were they good--need to go back to Walmart and see if I can get some for 75% off--stock up on my sugar! Sweetie Pie

Because we all need a little treat:

Hehe, I think I polished off this last cupcake yesterday--those things are addicting!

We've spent a lot of time with family this past weekend and I've missed being in my scrap room--can't wait to get Landen down for a nap so I can play! Logan has had me busy playing doctor, remote control cars, and shooting hoops. Boys are so fun--but man I'm exhausted already!!

I've been having so much fun playing with my Coredinations Cardstock lately--I finally finished my January projects--here they are:

Have a "sweet" day!!
