It's Halloween!

I can't believe how fast the days are flying by--it's already Halloween! It's my favorite holiday and we've had so much fun this month making spooky stuff and eating creepy snacks. I created a couple Halloween cards for you today--

I'm loving my Silhouette-- and I have been for years, but I've been using it a lot more lately! I'm always finding new ways to use it! And I just fell in love with this Frankenstein! Isn't he cool?

Sorry I've been MIA lately--just some little health problems, three boys, and life! But I want to get back on track with my blogging!

Here's my boys all dressed up for Halloween!

Summertime!

I can't believe it's almost July! The fourth is coming up and I'm so excited, as are my boys. Every time we drive past a fireworks stand they almost pee their pants with excitement! They have even saved up a little of their chore money to buy their own fireworks--I'm sure they can get some snakes or sparklers for a dollar or two! ;) (anyone else  love Joe Dirt? snakes and sparklers... haha)

We have been busy this past month--a trip to Utah to visit family, school ending, painting my living room, and dealing with the heat! But I'm finally able to make a post!

Here's some cards I've been working on--I love these new stamps from Hero Arts. I was skeptical at first, I thought they kinda looked like they would turn out funny, but they are fantastic! They look like real splattered paint!

And Here's a card using some Hexagon stamps also by Hero Arts--

I hope you get the chance to play in the sun today--maybe break out that slip 'n' slide. That's what we are doing! First, off to slather some sun screen on this pale body!

Hampton Arts and Echo Park Blog Hop

Hello everyone! I have a little card to share with you today using Hampton Arts new Bundle of Joy stamp set. I paired it up with the matching papers from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy collection.

I love those stars! And they are easy to cut out! I used the Echo Park solid paper for my base, rounded the corners, and added some patterned papers to one side. The stamps are the easiest to use. I love Hampton Arts stamps because they are so easy to clean off! The hardly ever stain, and the images are always crisp and clear!

In Hiding...

My goodness, it's been a month since I last posted! I'm such a slacker! Time goes by so fast--we've had a bunch of family stuff. Landen's Birthday, My birthday, Cooper's birthday, and Easter--whew! I got a little distracted with all the planning and partying! ;)

Can you believe my little Coop is 2!? 2!!!! I can't. He's getting so big... and using so many words now. He was playing kickball with the boys in the hallway and as I walked past he looked at me and said, "Watch out mommy!" Ok--not in perfect pronunciation, but I could totally understand him! That's his first three word sentence! :) Gets me all choked up!

Landen is 5 now--a whole hand. And he thinks he is big time grown up. I guess he is... I just don't want to believe it! He asks me everyday if Kindergarten starts tomorrow. haha--you've got a couple months kid! The way he thinks just makes me laugh. The other day Logan was talking about playing basketball at practice and how he kept hitting 3 pointers and the coach told him he was on fire. Then Landen said, "It's ok Logan, don't be scared. You aren't really on fire. He was just teasing you." Hehe Made me giggle.

So I have a few Echo projects for you--there are FREE PDF's to go with them too--just click on the image and it will take you to the link! Check out all the other designers work while you are over there--some stunning work!

Hope you had a great Easter and are enjoying a little bit of warmer weather! We've broken out the t-shirts around here! :)

Black and White LOVE...

I found some really cute pictures of my boys sitting on my computer that I totally forgot about! I've been playing with the black and white actions over at My Four Hens--LOVE them. They are so great! And super affordable--they are $8 for the set. Unlike other companies that charge hundreds! This set I'm using is called Match Stick.

Anyways.... here's some photos!
