Sigh.

I hate it when Christmas is over. I. hate. it.
( is it just me, or does Landen seriously look like Macaulay Culkin in this pic???)
We had a magical Christmas this year-- Logan was so excited to see what Santa brought him! He got everything he asked for (good thing they were all cheap! Or Santa would have been in TROUBLE!) Even Landen got a kick out of Santa this year. When we saw the cookie plate empty, he went on and on for 30 minutes saying, "Santa's cookies all gone!" Over and over... haha!!

I hate getting sad about it. I broke down on Christmas night and bawled a little bit-- every year is just one year closer to them not believing anymore--then that magic and excitement is gone. I had to take a deep breath--then I sat in my living room and thought about every detail of that morning that I want to remember! It really made me feel better--so if you're like me--take some time to jot down some memories, it helps! Now on to New Years..... anyone else back on a diet???? LOL

Not sure if I shared these cards yet or not-- maybe soon I'll get back into that creative mood! Seems it's been zapped out of me--and I gotta get it back before my deadlines come and go!

have a wonderful night!

We have a bunch of stuff planned for the boys this week--tomorrow we're having breakfast with Santa at school, we're going to make snowflakes, salt dough gingerbread men, toffee, visit santa at the mall, start the 12 days of christmas, and make a snowman!! I'm trying to focus on bringing out my innner child! LOL not too hard!!!!

I've been using these cute diecuts from my Basic Grey party favors package. Isn't that strawberry so sweet?? Ribbon: SEI Diecuts: BasicGrey and SEI stamps and inK: Hero Arts

Must be Santa, Must be Santa...

It's been forever since I heard that song, but Logan's been going around singing it! He learned it in school yesterday and it's now his favorite song! Love that little bit of extra Christmas spirit it brings! :)
Sorry I've been gone--we've been packing our days with holiday fun! I'm trying to get the most out of our holiday season because it always seems to fly by so fast. Yesterday we headed out to the dollar store so that the boys could buy us each a present. (we do it there so that if they buy us something that we don't like, we didn't waste a bunch of money! LOL) They had so much fun browsing around looking at all their options. Of course, Landen really could care less. He just wanted to hold all the toys! Then we came home and made a batch of Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies--mmmmmmm.....
on to some paper goodies... haha! Here's my Core'dination's projects for December! Just bought the new Christmas cart for my Cricut--I've been having some fun!

have a Hot Cocoa filled evening!

Hey howdy Hey!!

Yea, Logan's been watching too much Toy Story.... and Jumanji.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was cozy, warm, filled with pie, turkey, a little shopping, and family! Can't beat that! Sad to see Brandon go back to work yesterday--really enjoyed having him home for 4 days straight!

And can you believe that it's already Dec. 1st??? Ack! I sure hope this month slows down. I really want to enjoy it--but I know it will fly by!! Anyways, the first of the month brings new projects from the Garden girls! Our theme for this month was 2 page layouts--yikes! SOOOO not good at these, but I gave it a go and I'm happy with how this one turned out!

And here's my New Product Focus page--highlighting the Jenni Bowlin Memo pads--LOVE these, seeing as how I'm OBSESSED with journaling tags--these are right up my alley! :)

Make sure to stop by the garden over at Twopeas and see everyone's stunning work! I always find so much inspiration there!

Feelin' the joy!

Seems like all the Christmas stuff I've been making says Joy on it! I must be feelin' it! Just a quick post for tonight--my eyelids are drooping, time to head off to bed!

This is a little, vintage-inspired banner. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Martha Stewart glitter, although I don't use it enough! This bronze color really gives it that extra touch!

A little card--I'm totally lovin' my felt right now--made those felt holly leaves! I think they are so cute and they only took a minute to make!

These are both in my Etsy shop right now--I'm having so much fun making Holiday stuff, but I'm not going to be able to use it all! Hopefully they will find a loving home! :)

Have a wonderful night! Dream crafty!

I think I can

We had a wonderful weekend--I got to spoil my hubby and spend some time with my boys! We stopped by a little... and by little, I mean HUGE... furniture store called Hidden Treasures in Shelley--it's filled with used and new stuff. We had a ball looking at all the fun stuff tucked away inside! Then we went out to eat... Red Robin, his favorite! On Sunday (his real birthday) we woke up, made strawberry crepes, opened presents and went to church. We ended the day at his parents house eating Lasagna and finishing it off with an ice cream cake! I can't believe how old he's getting... 29! He even leaned over and whispered in my ear, "What were you thinking, marrying an old man like me??" I'm thinking I made a wonderful decision! Love ya hon!

**Funny: I got Brandon a Nerf gun for one of his presents so he can play with the boys (it's his favorite present by far) and then when Logan went to say his prayers that night, this is what he said,

"And thank you that Daddy could get a Nerf gun for his birthday. I know I can use it if he shares. I love my daddy and I give him kisses. I really want to use is Nerf gun and use it on my own. I think I can, I think I can, I really think I can."

Then I just had to giggle.

Have a wonderful night filled with little one's prayers!

It was WORTH it!!!!!!!!!

woke up at 1:30am to make it to the 3:00am showing of New Moon. TOTALLY WORTH IT!! A group of my girlfriends all went--afraid I'm not young enough to pull stuff like that off anymore, but I really did enjoy it!

If you saw it, you'll agree--it puts Twilight to shame! LOL Run, don't walk, to see NEW MOON!!!!!

(Here's to Team Jacob!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Pop comb

yes, pop comb.

pop comb
pop comb
pop comb

That's what Landen says as he bounces down the hallway. It's his new word-- popcorn.

He learned it yesterday! In the last week he has learned how to put two words together and copy the words we say. Logan had him saying car and road on the way home from preschool and he thought that was pretty hilarious! It makes me so happy to see him hit that stage where he'll start learning all these new words at once. Sure makes communication with him a little easier! Although I'm a little sad to see him grow up--my baby!!

Yesterday the mid-month garden went up at 2peas-- the theme is stickers! This really was a HUGE challenge for me as I don't use them very often... or at all! But I have tons of them and they're dying to be used on a layout or two!! Here's my projects--go check out the garden, there is SOOOO many beautiful layouts to look at... and drool over! :)

My little niece Maddy--she needed a sparkly butterfly... don't all little girls???? I used Basic Grey stickers on here!

Lil' man--that's my logan! Love these chipboard stickers from Cosmo Cricket!

And here's my thankful layout--truly feel lucky to document the wonderful, beautiful people and things in my life.
Hope you get a chance to write down a thing or two that you're thankful for!! So fun to read a couple years down the road!!

Have a great night!
