So Tired.

I've been feeling so run down lately. Sleeping a lot and too tired to do a lot. I'm making easy dinners and making the kids do a lot more cleaning than they usually have to do. No fun for them, but it sure is making my life a little easier. I love them so much for it too!

I was able to play around with some more of my new BasicGrey goodies. I thought these flower diecuts were so cute, but they needed some kind of demensional center to them. I found these Maya Road heart pins and thought they would be adorable glued to the middle.

I'm also in love with these new Jillibean Soup wood tags. I placed my Lillybee stickers over the top and tied some twine to it before adhering it to my card base.

Hope you have a great day!

Today

I was walking around Joann's last week and decided to stroll down the scrapbooking isle. I rarely do this for two reasons--1. I already have an overflowing amount of all things scrappy and 2. I've worked for companies who send me there product so I don't have to buy it. But for some reason I was needing a kick in the creative mojo and I decided I was going to spend some money and buy some new stuff. I saw the new collection Hey You! from BasicGrey and had to grab some.

Easter Part 1 (Saturday)

IMG_7414e

We spent Saturday getting ready for our Easter Sunday. One of my favorite parts of the day... coloring eggs. It's always a little adventure with this guys. I thought--in my mommy brain-- that a new kit with paint rollers would get them all excited. That turned out to be a big flop. None of the paint worked and they all complained and told me I'd picked the worst kit ever. Luckily, a friend gave us a regular dye kit that I was saving as backup--thank goodness I did! Then the fun started...

So lesson learned for next year-- don't try to force creativity on my kids. They will get creative enough with a regular dye kit, no fancy roll on paints needed here!
