The taste of blackberries
Did you ever read that book as a child?? Totally makes me cry. When we went to Seattle a couple weeks ago, I brought back bags of wild blackberries that my mom and I picked. All together it made 7 jars of freezer jam and one YUMMY pie! They needed someone to make rolls for the ward activity tonight so I volunteered. I spent all day making them and I always love getting that first taste of a hot roll smothered in butter and blackberry jam. Even just thinking of it warms my soul. Nothing like comfort food. So I spoiled my ward members. My rolls were the first to go.. always puts a smile on my face when others like my cooking!!

Kandis--I just stumbled onto your blog, lucky me. You do wonderful work. I always love it especially when I find talented LDS sisters by chance (and yes, I KNOW there are many, many out there)! It always makes me smile though. I'll be back to visit again! Thanks for sharing.

love this cute card!! very creative :)
What a sweet card. LOVE it. :)
Oh yum Kandis, the blackberry goodies sound oh so good! Love your card, awesome as always!
You are so mean to bring up blackberries...you just can't get them in Utah...not for a reasonable price...and it kills me to pay for the blackberries I used to pick off the side of the road as a kid. I hope you enjoyed all the yummy stuff!
Such an adorable card Kandis!! Love the little house!

What a sweet card, Kandis! I guess we both had houses on the brain for this sketch. ;)
