I hate it when Christmas is over. I. hate. it.
( is it just me, or does Landen seriously look like Macaulay Culkin in this pic???)
We had a magical Christmas this year-- Logan was so excited to see what Santa brought him! He got everything he asked for (good thing they were all cheap! Or Santa would have been in TROUBLE!) Even Landen got a kick out of Santa this year. When we saw the cookie plate empty, he went on and on for 30 minutes saying, "Santa's cookies all gone!" Over and over... haha!!

I hate getting sad about it. I broke down on Christmas night and bawled a little bit-- every year is just one year closer to them not believing anymore--then that magic and excitement is gone. I had to take a deep breath--then I sat in my living room and thought about every detail of that morning that I want to remember! It really made me feel better--so if you're like me--take some time to jot down some memories, it helps! Now on to New Years..... anyone else back on a diet???? LOL

Not sure if I shared these cards yet or not-- maybe soon I'll get back into that creative mood! Seems it's been zapped out of me--and I gotta get it back before my deadlines come and go!

have a wonderful night!

Beautiful cards as usual! I have to tell you, my oldest daughter believed right up until this year (she is 14) and my youngest still believes and she is almost 12. They know how much I love Santa and talk about him a lot I think that is what kept the belief so long.

Love the photos!!! It was pretty neat around here with Alex not understanding Santa, but he understoond presents. Now he keeps saying: Presents all gone! So cute.
Merry Christmas.

If it makes you feel any better, my 13 year old is MORE excited even knowing. Now that is serious FUN!!

It was very interesting for me to read the post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and everything connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more soon.

Well, I totally stuck my foot in my mouth with my 12 year old nephew, I asked him his age and then said to him, "So you don't believe in Santa anymore". He gave me the look like what is YOUR problem. I ate my words real fast, LOL. So I guess it goes for awhile.
