I promise I didn't disappear! I just simply got lazy... or busy. one of the two... or maybe a combination of the two. haha
SOoooo big news--Shimelle Laine is starting a new class this coming weekend--July 5th! And she's offering a giveaway
on my blog! we LOVE giveaways!
I fell in love with photography a couple years ago. I begged my husband for a camera over and over again. He couldn't see what was wrong with his basic point and shoot. Once I had talked him into it, he took some pictures with the new camera and he said, "Why didn't we get this a LONG time ago." We love it. I love it. I capture the small moments of my children's lives that I'm going to, one day, forget when i'm old and gray. Even looking over the pictures I took last year I can see them growing through the pictures and watch their personalities shine through the photos. So here's a couple of my favorite photos I've taken:
If you are interested in Shimelle's class check it out here.
To enter the fabulous giveaway, leave me a comment telling me about your favorite picture you ever took!!
I will post a random winner on Tuesday!
hugs,
kandis

hmmm...my favorite picture...probably the one of my dh holding our son in the pool. Something about the look of complete trust on my son's face :) Thanks for the fun giveaway. I fell in love with photography abou a year and a half ago...:)
My favorite photo is always changing, but for now it's one of my girls playing at the beach. They are so happy and carefree!
I once took photos of my DS with his favourite bear (Archie Bear). He's only about 8 months old in the photo and is chewing Archie's ear. I love to look at those pictures and see how big Archie looks in relation to my DS, now I look at them in person and the bear looks tiny! How time flies!

love your photography!.. my fave and the prudest click ever was of my lil baby sister laughing.. her cute lil toothless mouth wide open! :D
My favorite till now must be the picture of our two kids at the beach. Just the expression on their faces, pure joy!
My favorites are changing in time..but I guess I am still waiting to capture the REAL favorite :o)
my favourite photo is of my 17 month old grandson Lachlan.every time anyone opens the fridge door he pushes past to sit on the bottom shelf,so i had to got a shot of him in there. He was quite safe as he only has is bottom on the shelf.
...is my husband sleeping on the sofa holding our sleeping three week old granddaughter. I wish I had photos of my dad taking naps with our then 18 month old daughter.
My favourite picture? That's a difficult one... Let me think about it... and enjoy the thousand I've taken!!!
Just love Shimelle's classes!!!!
Gorgeous photos!
My favourite picture would have to be one of my husband (boyfriend at the time of the picture). He's laughing his head off reading a comic, and the picture just seems to radiate happiness, and sums up the pleasure I get from seeing him so happy!
I live in a different country to my daughter and her family. Her baby was used to the sound of skype ringing even at a few months old. They came to visit me when he was 4 months old. I was able to see this for myself when they got a call from her husband. I managed to get a photo of him sat on his own looking at the screen intently at his dad. Priceless.
At our local fair several years ago, my five-year old daughter was feeding a calf in the petting zoo area. I managed to get a shot of her wide-eyed and surprised look at the moment the calf took the food right out of her hand. I still smile when I think about that photo.
My favorite picture has to be one of my 3 kids that was taken at the beach about 7 years ago. They are all playing so sweetly together and the lighting was just perfect!
I would love a spot in the class. It sounds wonderful.
My favourite photos are of my boys. I love them all, until the next time, when I have a new favourite!
A picture of my daughter looking into the distance, just the perfect shot of her, plus the colours of her outfit work perfectly with her hair (red)
One of my best firends with my son - she happens to be his Godmother. You can see the love she has for him. Thanks for the chance to enter.
wow, that's a hard one...i think my fav would be a family photo that my husband took of us while on vacation shortly after losing someone very special in my life. it was a much needed vacation, the weather, lighting and scenery was perfect.
Not really one photo, but I bought a Lomo camera a while back, and the first roll of film (yes, film) was just amazing. Loved just about every photo in that roll.
I have so many photos that it gets really hard to pick. The favorite photo is the one of me holding Alex after he was born giving him a kiss.
My favorite photo has to be of my now grown daughter when she was about 12. We were walking in the park and she sat on a hill to rest. She has beautiful red hair so the sun was shinning on it perfectly.
I'm not a photographer by any means, but discovering a beautiful field crammed full of poppies - my all time favourite flower - just 2 mins from my home - made me reach for my camera and take some piccies.
My favorite photo of all time is one I took last Christmas of my sixteen year old son on Santa's lap! Priceless.
My favourite photos was taken of my two girls when they were eight and ten. They were flower girls at my sister's wedding and they were smiling really sweetly.
Wow...my favorite pic would have to be one I took of one of my favorite NHL players, the first time I got to see him live. He's clearing pucks out of the net during warmups, and has such a contemplative, quiet look on his face...in the background is one of his teammates, who is skating so fast, he's nothing but a blur. I framed it and have it hanging on my scraproom wall, I love it so much!
I love photography, this class seems great! I have a photo of the sunset in Mexico that i love
My favourite pic is one I took of my bf in my old room in my parents' home. It's a dreamy-looking photo of him deep in thought. I love how I was able to capture his sweet & romantic side, which doesn't happen often.
My favorite picture I ever have taken was of my son when he was 1 years old.He was laying on a green rug in the grass outside of my house and I was standing above him.I took a close up of his face and his blue eyes sparkled and his face was just so beautiful,it almost made me cry when I first saw that pic. It was beautiful
My favorite picture is of my 2 dds... my 23 month old gave her sister a kiss on the head and my little one was looking up at her... i'm glad i can hold on to that memory :)
my favourite picture ever is of my grandad visiting my new house. he went into hospital the week later and died not long after. I am so thrilled he got to see the home that I will spend my life in.
my fav photo is of my niece blowing bubbles on easter or of her smelling a rose. Both so fabulous, plus she is a cute model.
Christmas we put together a new TV stand with a black glass top. The reflection of the tree lights and a candy cane.
I love the pictures I did for my best friends wedding. and I love that she trusted me to take pictures on her wonderful day. Thanks for the chance to win Shimelle's class.
I've just found a photo of my parents looking young, sprawled in the garden, taken by me aged about 20. It's 30 years on, my father is no longer with us and my mother's replacement hip prevents sprawling! I'm so pleased to have that photo.
I kinda got quite a few favourites!!! haha.... love pictures with flares, love the one I took of the 12 Apostles... oh, how to choose? :)
Lovely pictures. My favourite picture is from my 2 sons laughing together. That picture really shows how close thet are. I love it!
My favorite photo right now is of both of my kids together outside right after getting haircuts!
my favorite picture? difficult question. I think is the first picture I took of my twin boys.
Oh that is such a difficult question...I think it has to be two actually, one of each of my children, now teen/almost teen nursing their twin baby cousins born last winter. There is such tenderness in their faces as they stare down at the tiny scraps of baby in their arms.
